Rourkes gone into adminstration

Rourkes suppliers of components etc have gone into administration.
Curses, they owe me about sixty quid.
Any chance of getting it back?

If it's for goods purchased but not supplied and you used a credit card you will be able to claim from the credit card issuer. If it is payment for work or goods you supplied to them you will be at the back of the cue, HMRC, banks and accountants get to feed first

In my experience your money will be delivered in 9 bob notes by a pig flying out from the frozen wastes of hell.

In other words your name will be added to the list of creditors and if there is anything in the pot at the end of it all you may get something but dont hold your breath

As I figured
The small man gets screwed by the system.
They sent me a bunch of wrong stuff and offered me a credit note.
Stupidly I did not sort it out immediately.
Ho Hum.
I would not mind having a go at the fire sale for tools when the vultures go on the attack.

In administration means they are most likely stlll trading, why not order some stuff you need and pay for it with your credit note, nothing to lose is there

Good thinking Paul, remember to pay any extra / balance on a credit card Chunko.

AFAIK you are only covered on a CC if the purchase is/was over £100. There is no legal requirement for "insurance" on debits cards
