Rough grinding discs

Evening sll.
Just a heads up regards grinding discs. As a general rule I normally keep a few packs of cutting disc..flap wheels and grinding discs. I had to grab a couple of Norton grind discs and I am totally disappointed with the quality. I have always found Norton to be a good quality manufacturer .these two discs are absolute crap. Completely out of balance . The locking collar doesn't fit properly due to rough finish. One disc is so bad it actually spun of the grinder. Check your discs guys as these are as much use a a hand shandy !

It's a race to the bottom for many of these manufacturers now.

Even 3M cubitron has gone to muck compared to the product of old.

Pferd made in Germany are getting on for £8-9 a flap disc, why? Because that's the real cost of producing a top tier product outside of china or some other backwater.

It's getting beyond a joke. The quality of some stuff is totally crap.

Not fakes are they? Seems to be a bit of an issue for all manufacturers these days.
