I've got (as well as a Makita 4.5" 240v & an Erbaur 18v battery one) a Parkside 5" variable speed corded 240v grinder.
It's been a good tool and nice to use - but just stopped a while back. I feared the worst (switch, maybe variable part, or motor) and it got left till the other day.
I was checking with a multimeter for continuity & voltage - and it turned out to be a bad connection through the fuse in the moulded plug! A tweak to the fuse holder & away it went!
