I am thinking of getting a rotisserie spit to make working on my consul easier, can you get any that let's you leave the engine in situ, obviously after draining all liquids? Not too sure how i would stand with the local council though as it is a front drive project
The only commercially-made one I would trust is the NBN Heavy-Duty model. It weighs 60Kg at each end, and attaches to the bumper mounts. Not cheap though....but good resale value when your project is done.
You could try one of these www.rollerhoop.com
Or make one (scaffold poles and a ring roller ? was what I was contemplating )
Does req engine ect out
Finding more rust in the consul then fuff66uk?
Try google car tilter usually shows a lady with a cordless drill operating the tilter (to indicate how easy). If I recall they use to say engine ect can stay in, just drain or cap fluids and bolt to brake drums/dics . Another option is drive on ramps with a see-saw action youtube it Think I saw one on there aprox 5ft off ground You could try a search on this forum for ramps
If you look at that web site it shows the roller hoops put onto a set of rollers, allowing the hoops to rotate on the spot. The hoops only need to be as larg as the widest/tallest part of your car plus a bit (bout 7ft diameter. Recon most driveways would be big enough. Think I should have used the snowy weather to have made one up... Doh
