roofrack advice pls

need to make roofrack for my 110 landy want it to over hang windscreen by about 2ft.

will 3/4x3/4 x16g box be strong enough cheers

Plenty strong enough for most stuff you will be strong enough to lift up there

I use 20mm conduit for a 110, 15mm for 90/disco.

Are you going to support the overhang? e.g. diagonals from the windscreen pivot bolts.

going to have 2 uprights to wings and 2 to pivot bolts.

got hinge either side so bracket will fit behind them.

I made this one for my 90 out of an old BT roof rack. You can buy them for pennies on fleabay.
