So after the storm I was up in my shed roof, putting a few extra fixing in the ridge as it had lifted a bit. The roof is Onduline over 12mm OSB. I noticed the Onduline has hardened with time 12 years, and a few of the nail holes with wind and walking up there are a bit big and will be letting in a bit.
My thinking is to replace before it becomes a major issue, roof pitch is 15 degrees. Id like real slate to match the house and barns but cost and weight are just not realistic.
My options are more Onduline, BoxProfile over the OSB, Tapico Slate over OSB, Supalite roof tiles over OSB like used on conservatory roof, EPDM, roofing felt. Open to other ideas too, but that all I can think of so far.
