try hub le bas in Leicester, they do 1 inch tube in 3mm wall iirc, they may also do 25mm. I would go with inch stuff because it's cheap, easy to bend and you would need pretty good eyes to tell it from 25mm. Hub le bas have a minimum order charge that means you need to spend about £150 in total, (inc delivery) but you are going to need a couple of sticks at least to build the rack so you won't be far off.

I wouldn't bother for a one off job, use weldable elbows instead

Looking at his picture I think I can see twenty 90° bends and about as many smaller bends and then you still need weld them in place which surely takes longer, costs more and is more effort than bending them yourself?

The 25mm tube isn't all that spendy, but they have a minimum order quantity, so you would need to buy more than 2 sticks, I bought 3 x 1 1/4" 1 x 1", 1 x 3/4" all in 2.6mm wall, delivered for £150 ish

My normal supplier is James Dunkerley.
Delivery (about 10 miles each way) on their own wagon is £15.
I can get 10x 7.5m lengths of 25mm SHS 3mm delivered for £150???

can you get round tube for that? I can get square just down the road for that sort of money, but round tube heavier than 16ga is a lot harder to find. HLB have a fixed delivery charge of £25

I honestly don't know... I have need of some, so I'll be giving them a ring in the new year.
