A similar lwb land rover od where my suggestion came from. A local plant company use it to ferry drainage pipes and the like about in full 6m lengths. Mind you, I've driven it, it's how I'd imagine a tank would feel to drive.Where I buy steel, its sold in 7.6 meter lengths
If I built an over-bonnet rack like this, I might not even need to cut the lengths.
