This was a nice little job, a bit more of a challenge than my every day stuff. A set of new bosses we've had made were wrong and needed extending so they could be re machined. I decided the best way was to roll weld them

I tacked the new rings to the bosses and then my earth to the end of a pin, slipped the boss and ring onto the pin and secured with very small tacks (got to get them of the pin again)

now I can turn it with my left hand as I weld. OK ready to rock

Job done.A little bit more spatter than I like but I had to turn my settings down to keep control of everything.
