Röhr MIG-200MI - Missing part

Hello all, I'm new to this forum so not sure if this is the correct place to post.

I've just bought a Mig 200MI from Rohr, I seem to be missing a part though, a little "plastic?" tube that helps feed the wire through, I've had to go through amazon to send them a message but if it ends up taking weeks on end is there any place I can buy the missing part from?

I have sent an email it has to go through Amazon first though for some reason so probably get a reply within a week be surprised if earlier.

And yes I'll be using it soon as the rain stops

Machine looks the same too on the website, probably just a re-skin, I spent a good while searching around yesterday but couldn't find nothing of the sort for sale only the whole units unless I used the wrong keywords but nothing showed up.

Thanks for comment, ideally I'd want the straight replacement part but I don't think you can buy it separately, I've looked around a fair bit but nothing pops out.

As mentioned above it probably won't hurt using like it is but still a brand new machine it's not exactly acceptable. Just a matter of waiting for a response from Amazon or Union Mart.

Yeah, carry on. All it does is make loading the wire easier and stop the wire dragging if it's a 5Kg reel.

Pick the unit up and roll it over a few different directions in your hands, it might be stuck inside the casing someplace.

Other than that, find someone with a lathe or 3d printer to make you one. I would do it if you were nearby.

Thanks Pete, I'll have a go at that, you never know!

Lathe is out of the question though as I'd probably be paying a lot more than I should have to. I'm hoping the company can just give me a replacement part and not want to fart **** about taking the welder back.

Sam that part is simple to make if you provide mesurements I'm sure someone could knock up a reasonable facsimile.

Hello all, hope you have a nice weekend.

Just a little update, after much faffing about Union Mart should be sending me a spare part, also taking Pete's advice.

I took the casings off and found my feed guide tube rather close to the main board, so lets just say if my welder was knocked during operation it probably wouldn't have ended well Glad I checked it when I did!
