Ugh memories, i had a zetec equipped mondy running on petrol/lpg, and when on petrol it was all over the show and ran hot and the plugs came out white, wouldnt idle and randomly cut out in a very "ive got a dodgy iac valve and poisened o2 sensors" manner but was fairly ok on the (closed loop) gas system with just the odd burp and stuff. Then it shed a cambelt and lunched itself, so rebuilt with a low mileage breakers engine and the fault was still there.
In disgust it went into a few dealers who failed to fix it, and in the end i got sick and just changed out the coil pack, cap, leads and plugs in the shed and it fixed it...
