anyone know if it is possible to remover the post part of a rhino post without a 9" grinder... surely there must be a way to empty the muck and gravel that accumulates in the hole underneath ??

how ? we have one at work that wont drop the last 4"

If I'm understanding your question correctly the posts that I had could be released when unlocked by pushing a good sized parallel punch through a hole in the tube to push on the retaining claw. With the post out of the tube the pressure washer could be used to flush out the socket.

thanks for that... thought it would be something fairly simple.... didnt see an obvious hole in the rain the other day but will go back and have another look
