Got rained off today from work so it gave me the chance to knock my revolving table together..Ive been meaning too since i bought my Tig. Please note all materials are from scrap yard finds which cost just shy of 6 notes so its possible to cobble something together from nothing really (newbies please note
) Anyway its made from a 30mm thick big pipe end cap (heavy)...a bearing block..and a shaft from an old beam pully block. Pics tell the story but the bearing block bolts to the welding bench and theres a shaft runs through the bearing and up through the plate which ive run a bead around to hold it,the actual underside of the plate sits on the raised bearing and its this which revolves. Ive also turned down a locking peg which goes through one of any holes to lock the table as virtualy turn the thing by blowing it otherwise
. Anyone considering buying a mag drill, well i drilled a 30mm wide hole through 30mm plate in under a 60 seconds with no fuss at all,Fantastic tools they are.I dont think this table is going to warp
