I wanted to get rid of the fairing from my bike and found the instruments are mounted on the fairing support bracket.
Used the existing frame as a template to make the new one out of plate with edge rolled round a piece of conduit and welded together.
Designing mounting brackets using the time honoured "cereal packet" method
My work colleague made a couple of plugs on the lathe to fit in ends of conduit then tapped M8. Test fit on bike.
A trip to the local powder coaters produced this.
Painted the back of instrument module with satin black and bolted to bike.
