If the colour codes are taken at face value, the feature that makes this resistor unusual is the 1ppm tempco - hence why I asked the application.
The application doesn't suggest a reason to use 1ppm tempco resistors, so what do all the other resistors on the PCB look like?
Of course it's possible this isn't a resistor at all - is there a component reference on the PCB silkscreen?
Good comments. If it is a 75R then I would expect it to be a 1%, but it seems an odd value to choose over a standard range value, although not as odd as a 911R!. It could be an iductor perhaps, they are sometimes marked with bands.
