Replacements for ship lap cadding?

The 3 x 2 frame on my garage door is covered with ship lap timber, which is now showing its age & rotten in places.
The frame is ok & was wondering if anybody has come across a modern (composite?) replacement, preferably self coloured & strong to replace the wooden ship lap which needs regular maintenance.

Definitely the sort of thinh I’m looking for, any idea if its as strong as ship lap. I’ll take a wander into M&B bought some plastic window sills from them a little while ago.

wooden ship lap which needs regular maintenance

this can depend on the quality of the wood and products used, our shed which is covered in feather edge has just had its second coat of sadolin, the first coat only lasted 20 years

I should fess up that the bottom 2 foot of the walls are brick so the worst area so the wood is away from the ground but I have found that Sadolin does a cracking job on sheds where the wood is close to the ground as well
