replacement halfords industrial tool chest drawer runners

Has anyone here ever had to replace halfords industrial tool chest drawer runners?
I have a broken one in the biggest bottom drawer.
It was a second hand purchase so no warenty for me.

warranty often doesn't require receipt. try asking at the store if they can replace it...

Oh I am.sure they do require recipes worth a ask I suppose. It looks like the runners are rivited to the unit though so it will be a drill and 're rivit job..

i have warranty returned multiple items to Halfords over the years, they have NEVER asked for a receipt.

i guess i need to remove the offending one an measure and match them up

You don't need receipts for their Advanced tools range.
I recently returned a 1/4" ratchet that had started to stick.
They exchanged it for a new one without even asking for the receipt which I had with me.
I doubt they would have the drawer runners in store though with them being rivetted in.
Might be worth a call to see if they can source them for you, you might get lucky and they give you them free.

Theres usually hidden levers on the runners, hold them in to pull it out and seperate each half.

A future project, I was going to make a tool cab, I have £50 or £80 of these Klug draw runners, seem good. I will eventually need them all, but for the last year they have been tripping me up eating floor space, they seem decent.
