replacement bottle contents gauge

anyone know where i can get one, needs to read to around 400 bar on a 1/4 parallel thread.

broke it lowering a car onto it grrr

I'm assuming the gauge is on a regulator. About 40 years ago any part could be replaced including the diaphragm of a regulator, when I was learning welding only the out side parts were allowed to be replaced (you can probably guess where this is going) now I believe, no parts are repairable or replaceable (at least in industry in the UK) a damaged regulator is now scrap. They don't even do service exchange any more. Probably not a good idea to repair it.

mmmmm great, this sounds just like the way things went with cars in general, years ago i could get seal kits to repair wheel cylinders etc, now we just fit new, i guess everywhere is a throw away nation now.

I replaced one of mine with one from ebay. Not from a reg, but listed under lab test equipment. Oil filled, good to 7000PSI.

Your regulator has a date stamped on it somewhere; If its more than 5 years old it should really be replaced anyway. If its fairly new a gauge should be available from your local welding supplier.
