after looking at those photos it would be a shame to bodge the rubber fittings with anything, get new replacemets, as the saying goes, dont spoil the ship for a ha'p'orth of tar
Sadly the nearest replacement is pretty much useless since it is so much narrower that it will just act as a water trap rather than a seal. Bleedin' annoying that the Chinese think we'll just put up with such rubbish fits. The same place (ESM) sells new brass screws and screw cups. Don't think I'll bother ordering any. The ones I've got here aren't all that bad. Maybe a previous owner actually had a screwdriver that fitted?
