Tank appears to be hdpe from what i can see stamped on it...managed to get a replacement for a tenner but would still like to repair this one if possible
Why not just spend another tenner and get another tank without a hole in it, if your not using it as a fuel tank it clearly isn't going on your car so any tank would do so just buy the cheapest available.I have another use in mind that doesnt invovle petrol and no issues if the repair fails...
Does anyone know the output pressure of a standard fuel pump?

Fair enough, don't forget to post pictures of what you get up to, you know we all like picturesBecause i like to use what i have, i dont have to waste a tank that is fine apart from one hole and i dont have to spend more money
