Morning all.
This is my first post. I gave been practicing welding with my sealer mig. I have been okay with it but have been welding 1mm sheet metal ready to go in my Lada niva. No matter how hard I try when butt welding I always blow the odd hole in it. I'm nervous about going to the car with the new metal in case I blow holes in it too. If I do can I repair it or do I have to cut that section out and start again?
Also the power settings on my welder are confusing me. I have two switches one labelled 1 & 11 the other labelled high and low. How are they different? I've got them set to 1 and low. Wire speed at 6.
Thanks
Phil
