Hi all, been putting this off for ages now but want to get started back on the car welding. My mig started blowing fuses a while back and after some advice on here I was told it could be the rectifier. I have disconnected and removed this but before I splash out on a new one (around £50.00 or so) and then find its something else! I would like to take it somewhere to get the rectifier tested and the machine checked out. I have asked at a few local garages but none are interested or would offer any advice on where to take it. I travel the Borders and central Scotland regulally, can anyone suggest a place to take it to? Thanks in avance Crofty
