Rent free gas

Rent free gas .....anyone know of anywhere in the Hull area ,as i dont realy want to get into a contract for a year also i won,t use all the gas on my project and dont wish to hand back a half bottle after the years up..

hey i was like you and didnt want a contract and i found out you can get a small bottle of blue shield 8 (75% argon 25% co2) and you just buy the small bottle nd every time you need some more just bring it in and pay $84 to have it either re filled or swapped for another one and this was at apm (liquidair)

Well, that's this side of the pond. Hardly anyone does rental. Over there it is rare.

Here, I own a 125CF tank (just under 4'). Costs me $40 to swap it for a filled one at Airco/Linde/Air Products/Holox or whatever they are calling themselves these days

hi mate i was the same, ive moved to scunthorpe, i got a co2 bottle filled up for 15 quid, it was done in grimsby, if thats not to far for you i can get the details from the bloke at work that done it for me, pm me if you want them, cheers andy

i contacted them as im waiting for them to get larger bottles, they say 200 whereas your hobbyweld is about 130 or something, but yes if you can collect go for it, ive got nothing round here and im near two major towns, unbelievable, thanks, nei.

Hobbyweld is 137 bar. Would be nice if they filled them a bit more but it was the only rent free option available here in sunny Scotland!
