HI,
Your coments on MIG brazing were very interesting, id like to hear any comments on the MIG brazing of light wall alloy steel tubes ,ie, the Renolds range, as i use this in the constrution of sidecar frames, to date ive alway gas brazed but MIG would seem a better method as it would dispence with the pre heating.
My second comment is to do with heat control on thin steel sheet, ie car panels. A method i use ( and its good for filling holes too ) is to use a copper block at the back of the weld to act as a heat sink, it works i promise you, as for plugging holes the copper can be welded straight onto and again no burning of the weld edge.
