You was lucky - I thought all these Renault Traffics had bearing built into the front brake discs
(it is nice to do the whole axle as a pair. Calipers/discs/pads - clean all the slides/carriers/hubs up.)
Nah only the rear discs have the hub bearing in. (Can get them complete and or swap the bearing but it's a nightmare)
The fronts are normal drive flange hub.
I have done a few rears on Traffics/Vivaros - I ended up making up a puller from an old discs (stud PCD matches) and lump of plate with a force screw thru it (M20).
Inverted disc - using wheel bolts
Yea exactly! Not worth the hassle anymore in my eyes. Only like an extra £35/disc for the ones with the bearings.
Buy and bolt on, convince is worth that bit extra.
Sounds about right for anything French!Did ye come across the pain of bleeding the back brakes yet?
For some unknown reason, reno decided it would be clever to put the bleed nipples on the back callipers half way up instead of at the top have to remove the calliper to turn it so the nipples at the top , even if your using a pressure bleeder, otherwise theres a load of air trapped inside it
Looks like someone removed the money allready
Yep that's why i done it plus i have a new turbo coming with a bigger front wheel for that smile factorIts only a cat , should be an audible whistle off the turbo since that was done
