Removing light scratches from stainless

Evening all
I have a watch with stainless steel link strap, just wondering if anyone can recommend a way of removing the scratches. pic attached...

very fine grit wet and dry (1000)

rub with soap to stop it scratching and it should take all of them out

Solvol Autosol is what I always used for detailing my bikes shiny bits, it's a very fine cutting paste available in most car accessory shops, about a fiver for a tube... perhaps the wet and dry as mentioned ...then the solvol to fine finish

Personally I would use Scotchbrite (or the cheaper Mirka version if I'm being honest ) for a nice brushed finish, the ultra fine ones have a decent sheen in my opinion.

I'd go cautious and just use autosol.
....may take longer by hand , or better still get a mop but better softly softly than gritty gritty !

I'd just leave it, I bet it will be as bad as it is within a few weeks.
