Anyone know of a cheap chemical way of removing iron contamination in stainless steel? As far as I can gather pickling paste will do it but I only have a small job to do and I don't want to invest £30 in a tub of that just for this little job. I understand it is Nitric / hydrofluoric acid that I need but it doesnt seem to be readily available?
