My current project is fixing up a Honda s-2000. It has light panel damage all down one side, and I'm currently having fun drilling out the spot welds using various spot weld cutters.
This is the first time I've working on standard tin-top cars, and one thing I'm not sure about is how to release the panels off when they appear to be stuck using panel sealant. The bits I can access with a Stanley knife seem easy enough to cut through (in this hot weather anyway) but there are other parts that are very awkward to get at. Is there a knack to this? I'm thinking of finding a bread knife from the kitchen when the missus isn't looking to extend my reach
I was also wondering about a hairdryer?
Cheers!
