Removing alternator and PS pump spindle nuts without marring the parts?

Thanks all! Turns out its easy when you know how, just love learning something new every day, problem is I for get at least two things I used to know.

It came off no problem with the old belt trick and the Aldi nut spinner.

Ready to go.

I never missed a copy for possibly 20 years but I've kind of lost my way with Practical Classics, I will get a copy and have a read. There have been some amazing restoration stories over the years.

Often something like

Bought a car,moved house no garage,wife pregnant 3 times, finally got the time to do the restoration 15 years later.

It's either that or....

Retired bought a car, worse than I thought on January 1st and planned to drive my daughter to her wedding in August.

My story is a bit boring then, bought a bottom of the market rusty car unseen off ebay, didn't know my asre from my elbow, joined a mig welding forum and "Bobs your uncle", ten years later and 3000 hours in the garage later, it's in Practical Classics.

Yea, that was a bold move for whoever ordered it back in 1979 when it cost about equivalent of the average house.
