Remove scratches from ALU sheet?

Any secrets to doing this...the sheets have got some minor scratches from handling.
Ive tried with some fine grit paper, removes the scratches but leaves a dull finish...maybe I just need finer paper?

finish off with grade 1200 wet and dry and polish up rubbing compound. it takes time

by its self then after the rubbing compound use solvol autosol or t cut to polish

Cool, will give it a go tomorrow. I take it the wet n dry needs to be by hand but the polishing could be on a drill/grinder?

drill with a polishing mop on be faster then by hand

Farecla G10 works well and is much finer than G3.

cheers... what kind of drill/grinder attachment? felt/sponge/wool??

Standard car buffer with a blue pad (for metallic) is all I use.

If using machine be careful not to get the ally to hot

If you use Farecla with a machine you wet it through.
