Remote door lock

Anyone recommend a remote controlled door lock? I want to fit one to my workshop so it can also be locked from the inside. just make sure you are on the inside when the batteries go flat, unless it fails open

it doesn't look particularly strong or well fitted to the door/frame either

How about using a remote control linear actuator.
I'm sure i saw some cheap ones on ebay.
You'd also need some sort of secret overide if things go wrong electricaly......something to push a mounting pin out.

It's a sliding door, currently locked from the outside.

What about a simple hook and eye to keep the door shut, handy if you ever need to get out in a hurry too!

oh you mean the other door forgot about that one

id fit steel doors on front of it that swing out and lock up or a cage gate that does the same

best having something that discourages it than think to try it

Ideally a remote controlled lock inside as extra security is what I’m thinking. If it fails I still have the roller door to get in and vice versa.

same reference use a rack bolt that locks the door into place so it cant slide open

rack moves forward but pushes out an angled block infront of the door

you want a mag lock with remote control or a way to control the mag lock via remote control

you can make x2 an angle iron plate triangle for the door as it slides over the mag lock it will only lock when the power is turned on and good luck to them sliding it
