relay's gone on my sip 150 migmate

The relay (type 40.61) packed up on my sip 150 migmate. I know where to buy them, but is it possible to fit a new relay or would I have to buy a replacement circuit board? All answers will be appreciated.

It should be easy to replace.
Just use a solder sucker or wick to un-solder it, and solder in the new one.
Make sure it's not the little transformer that runs the relay that has quit working.

Thanks Robert, the relay had a black soot spot on the plastic casing so I take it that's where the problem lies. Cheers.

my relay has a black spot on it but works perfectly I would check the 12v transformer

my relay went and i replaced it with a heavy duty one it didnt fit the board so i just wired it to the board and alls well
i may also add mine is a bag of sip
