Regulator question

I bought a small tig welder and the gas connection is just small barb fitting, looks about 1/4". What kind of inexpensive argon regulator can I use that would have that barb fitting on it?

You would use a reg with a flowmeter then adapt to 1/4 hose.

I have made up all kinds of hoses, got most of the fittings at a local hardware store. My gas supplier was the only one that had the male 5/8" flare thread fittings though. I was able to use a female fitting with a male-male adapter.

I bet your gas supplier will have all the fittings and a reg.

I use 1/4" rubber fuel line from an auto parts store.
