You will soon know, if it is the same one you will need to wear shades when he wears his favourite shirtI think I work with him...
It's ok, wasn't keen on it anyway so I gave it away to a Fifer with whippets, he loves it
Sweeping is removal of the register plate via the SOCKET head screws. Procedure is flue up, stove out, flue out, register plate out. That's about five or ten minutes work. Sweeping is a five minute job and reassembly, as they like to say, is the reversal of removal. Strictly speaking you should sweep every year but this is a short length (7m) with a good cowl and when I swept it at the start of this I got very little from a couple years prior burn, perhaps a small cereal box's worth. I do burn woodfuel rather than plain old wood so there's very little ash, < 8% moisture and high heat so you don't get tarring. Not that you should with any fuel you burn but you know, I'm not a wood sizzler.Nice job , !I haven't got a wood burner myself but I so want one in my next house ....
Anyway how do you go about sweeping the chimney ? Can you just push the rods up thru the stove or is there a baffle in the top of the stove ??
Wouldn't the soot just sit on top of the register ,how do you clean it oot ?
That chimney was lined with pipes yes ? Did you know in advance it was sound and smoke tight ? I presume you checked with the smoke pellets for leaks upstairs ?
It wasn't a dress, it was a pic of a dress with someone in itAt least I might have stood a chance of it fitting... the only ones that may stand a chance of not bursting the zip on you are maternity dresses!
He does that anyway no matter the temperature
His other half was a bit worried and asked me if it was normal, I said don't worry it is normal for the people from where he comes. And you know this....how?
