What is a good book on MIG welding that I can buy here in the US to give me some basic information? This forum is a fantastic help, but I don't like to have to post and wait for a reply every time I want to know the gap I should use when butt welding two pieces of .187 inch steel together. I'm looking for basic formulas, rules of thumb, useful reference information. Anyone have any suggestions for a good reference?

I've got...Welders handbook and Performance Welding Both by Richard Finch they are also about Tig, mma, cutting etc.
They are quite handy, plenty of info and tables on various stuff.
Both are American books so you shouldn't have a problem getting hold of them if you're interested.
