Can see its usefulness on curves but won't ever replace a tape measure.
Running it all the way down a length of timber to mark will get old quickly.

I can see a problem, if you lift it off a surface without noticing whilst measuring you will get a false reading. I’ll stick to my old fashioned tape

Useless. It's in cm and I don't use cm. I'm not a schoolkids or a dressmaker and I don't work in Ikea.
