I was offered one of these the other day, the big floor standing copper pipe model with formers for imperial sizes up to 1 "1/4, and one 15mm.
I was tempted but turned it down as couldn't see any of the imperial copper pipe formers being much use, and I don't really do much in the way of plumbing with copper pipe.
But it got me thinking, is there anything else they can be used for?
I know they can bend conduit - although this model doesn't have the preset stops for conduit like the universal does, so I'm not sure how well that would work.
What about bending steel tubing or even small round bar?
Seems a shame to pass them up if they could be handy, but I'm not sure if the workshop space would be better reserved for something like a JD2
I know we have a few chaps with them on here, how useful are they?
