Hi everybody...
I've been welding with a Tecarc 280A single phase 32A supply Mig for the last few months and a Parweld 181 along side.
Its time i got my own, and the 280 is too big and the best price i can get for the parweld 181 i don't think its worth!!
I need recommendations please, i want a good welder for commercial agricultural welding, (compact tractor and mower work - im a compact contractor and i look after my own gear to keep costs down) min thickness i work with is 0.8mm and thickest really is 8mm i do still have access to the 280 but my supply can't cope with it at my workshop so looking for something more like the parweld as that did everything i wanted it to do but really not able to shell out £800 notes at the moment...
I do want a Euro torch and ideally a spot weld feature..
Im maybe going overkill, its going to spend most of its life welding mower blades for balancing, repairing bodywork & implements and at worst a front loader bucket..
ive looked at a few online, sealey, clarke, Como to name a few and the first two seem to be too hobby for the money they ask to me the third was a good powerband but jury out on what the quality is going to be..
cheers in advance..
