Evening all
Had a couple of different bits put my way lately
first up is a step frame for the back of a boat so I'm in need of someone that can bend 316 stainless approx 1" diameter there's only 4 bends required in total fairly large radius. Perfectly happy to have individual bends to tig togeather anyone got any recommendations as to where I can get this done?
Secondly I've been asked about a job that'll require press work and tooling made to suit it's a smallish egg shaped dished component to be made from 1/1.2mm 304 stainless quantity I've been told is around 1,000 pieces. Anyone dealt with a company that can make tooling (customer has already been told of the requirement for specific expensive tooling) and the components? I can deal with the final shaping and polishing that'll be required.
The presswork in particular is uncharted territory for me so any help is much appreciated.
