I bought an old (1984) Sealey branded variant of the ubiquitous 6x4 Bandsaw not so long ago.
A clean, some new cheap blade guide bearings, fresh oil in the worm drive & a tinker, and good to go.
Quiet, safe, will cut away & switch itself off, hardly any mess.
If I needed a saw for site work then OK- but for at home with neighbours, my 6x4 is much better.
