Recommend me a screwdiver set in tray plz

I have maybe 6 or 8 screwdriver sets. Many of them new. Never really liked any of them. Bar a small wall mounted Wera set that is very well made. And a small Japan made vessel set.

I will offer the other sets cheap on here soon.

I would like one large good set of screwdrivers which must come with a tray to go into my tool cab. I like snap on etc but dont stretch that far unless its used and a deal.

So im looking to spend max £150 for a decent, large set of screwdrivers in a tray. Something like this?

Beta wouldn't be my first choice.

I've got a decent set from Stahlwille in a tray. Wasn't expensive either.

Personally I'd only buy PB Swiss or wera.

Wera are great to be fair. The laser etch grips on the screwdriver tips really do work.

True yes, but in terms of tools I prefer to buy the best I can and look after them. DIY foam or printed trays don't appeal to me.

I've seen some really nice foam inserts on cheap tools, and some really naff plastic trays on expensive tools.

Personally I'd go for the best quality tool, and then make a tray or cut some foam to fit. Trays and foam tend to expire long before the tool does.

Depends on the use level too. Busy workshop foam probably not great.

In my case its a warm dry garage and occasional weekend use. So foam trays will last well for me and is my #1 preference here for organisation and a quick solution I dont have time to be making my own trays for the forseeable future.

Snap-On ain't what they used to be either. Like a lot of their tools.
When more carburettor work started to come in a few years ago I set up a dedicated area to do them in. So I bought duplicates of a few of the more frequently used ones, so I didn't have to keep going back & forth with them.
I have to say that they're not if the same quality as my 35+ year old Snap-On screwdrivers. There's noticeable wear on the tips after a few years use, & a lot of carb fittings are brass.

I would go for Stahlwille, Wera, or Vessel.

I printed a small rack for my cheapy screwdrivers that hang in the locker of the crane, just clip the shafts in and job done. Have yet to fit it though as it won't be going in this crane

I'd actually say Wera has a better handle, but they don't make a set like this.

I have/ had a set of Beta screwdrivers, I hated them ,they now reside in my wife’s tool box unused most of the time. Her tool box is in the house, I would rather walk out to my shed to get a screwdriver

I have some Wera and PB Swiss, I find the PB much more comfortable to use.

I have a set of the Halfords pro ones and I really don't like them. The blades on the flat screwdrivers are too thick and don't fit normal screws.

I really like the Were lasertip screwdrivers. They will grip a screw head that most other drivers cam out of.
I managed to break one of the pozi drivers but once I sent it back to them I got a warranty replacement free.
