Recommend a general purpose wire brush

I've run out of wire brushes. The last ones I bought were junk. In fact, I haven't had any decent ones for ages.

I use them for cleaning up welds.

Any recommendations? I don't want to buy 12 and find they are rubbish.

I second spid brushes they last very well, I’ve often used one as a chipping hammer as they are pretty sturdy

Based on how crap the previous ones have been, 12 would only just be enough. But you are right, a handful of decent ones would be fine.

Best one I've bought recently is a Vewerk "Soft Grip Stainless Steel Wire Brush 260mm X 1 7011"

Stiffer and more effective than those SPID ones (that are more like suede brushes IMHO).
