Recomendation for an electric hedgecutter

I've got an Argos cheap Challenge electric hedge cutter that is a waste of time. Normally I use a petrol cutter instead but today it refused to start so and thinking that a decent electric cutter might be a sensible option.
Anyone recommend something worth considering ?
I should add I've also got a "backpack" petrol power unit that has hedge cutter attachment but tend only to use it for the high branches as clumbersome for the lower areas.

all i can say is get a reputable make and go for the highest wattage motor

I've got a Bosch rechargeable one with a lion battery, I bought it when my petrol one wouldn't go, I've never bothered to repair the petrol one as the rechargeable one is better than the petrol one ever was! I thought it would be a bit of a toy when I saw it, but the man in the shop assured me it was good. Runs for about an hour on a charge & the good thing is it's light. Cost about £100 if I recall about 4 years ago

If you were nearer I would let you try it
