recoating 2k ?

How many coats did you put on , I usually limit to 3 in one session because the paint surface drys but the coats underneath are all trying to dry at different rates

2 coats langy, but the paint was going on heavy. I'm going to leave everything sit for a a few weeks and see how it goes.

You shouldn't reall lay 2k on too heavy as it can crack as it hardens, it should be hard in a few days at least

I've stuck the frame etc in my loft as its always warm up there, and to be honest i am sick of the whole thing. I'll have a look at it in a few weeks and see how it is then.

Odd , I usually flat & polish next day !!!

I tend to do that, much easier to flat off before it cures fully.
