Hi everyone.
Well after a what seems like an age I have finally finished my dog cages, this was my origional thread http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=16710
I have just had them returned from the powder coaters and I'm really really pleased with the results.
This was my 1st ever go at welding...
God forbid if I have have an accident with the dogs in the car, they can 'all' escape into the main compartment of the car.
Freelanders have the smallest of boots, so I have had to really think hard about making this giving all the dogs enough room. The bottom left hand cage is a fraction larger than the right, Ollie always sits on the left side and Skye is always on the right. The top ones are taller at the back and shorter on the front, this was done so I could keep as much height as possible in the lower cages.
As you can see, the only way to fit them is to take the hard top off :cheeky:
Not bad for a software engineer
