Re gas less wire

Hi I have both a gas feed mig & a small gas less one what I'm not sure about is the gas less /fluxed wire so many prices for what seams to be the same wire can someone explain this to me ? Plus any recommendations of wire to use the gas less one is for use outside in the winter months so any advice welcome.

There is a fair amount of rubbish wire around and on a certain popular site there is rubbish wire advertised as the good stuff so it can be a bit of a minefield.

Personally I would buy from here, may be a couple of quid dearer than the 'bargain' wire but you get what is advertised from a supplier many of us have bought from and trust.

Good afternoon, I have used a fair share of gasless wire good and bad, the difference between a good brand and a bad brand is like night and day. Like when you choose your arc welding electrodes, stick to known reputable brands like Lincoln, SIF, Esab etc. You can't go far wrong. Its very expensive stuff though. I have recently converted over to gas and would honestly say I will never choose to use gasless ever again, unless the job really needs it.

That's my opinion though
