Re-crowning linisher pulleys.....?

Had an interesting problem to think about very recently, in that a mate, who has a factory not far from here, owns some pretty serious linishing and polishing plant, and it seems that some of the linisher pulleys have worn away their crowning, and no longer track sensibly.
Any thoughts as to an appropriate radius to use as a guide to work to, and how best to achieve it.
Thought about some sort of a pendulum system hung over my own ( functional ) linisher , but that might be a bit of a faff ?

I did mine tapered, might not be the best but I could do it myself turning half at a time and turning the workpiece around to ensure the same taper both sides. Do you have a lathe with a taper turning attachment or enough topslide travel?

I have, but so has he. The pendulum system has the right feel about it , and will produce a genuinely radiused crown.

Doesn't necessarily need to be radiused - admittedly when I detail such things, they probably will be, but I'm not making, or paying, for them Simple taper either side of center works, and it doesn't need a lot.
There are specs out there for generic flat belting, but the supplier of his belts might recommendations? Or measure any new spares he has?

A 150mm wide pulley with a 1mm crown has a radius of 2613mm, that's a long fixture.

When I did my linisher (2"wide) I just slightly tapered both edges for 3/4" and blended the middle with a file at the transition.

I made a new drive wheel for my belt grinder and just bumped the cross slide a bit in and out while it was cutting the final diameter. Probably crowned it by around half a mm.

Swing the workpiece over an abrasive belt on an appropriate length of liana.
Geometry then takes over.

i copied both of mine of a proper rhj bandfacer the 6 inch one is only slightly crowned at each side about an 3/4 of an inch in same with the 4 inch one . here is one vernon made and overcame the belt drift problem https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/starting-belt-sander.22243/ both pulleys are slighly crowned about 1/16 th of an inch
