Hello folks....
From the vague topic title, id like to ask when its safe to add further coats onto cured 2K.
I recently sprayed the interior of a shell im restoring but I managed to get a couple of runs and also a small amount of dust contaminated the finish.
Im not overly concerned as its mostly on unseen areas, however, im a bit of a perfectionist and would like to blitz a couple more coats over whats there now.
By the time I get back to the car, it will be roughly 8 weeks since it was sprayed, so if I gently de-nib the surface and DA the runs out, can I go straight over it with the top coat or do I need to use a primer again.
Also, is there any danger of a reaction when applying freshly thinned paint?
Ill be using the same base colour for the top coat but im going to use slow thinner this time and try to get a better gloss.
Any advice is really appreciated.
Cheers,
Ant
