RandA Lathe - Free to Good Home

[Cyberprog]

This light (hobby) metalwork lathe was built by my Grandfather, in 1965, and has been in our cellar for the last 30 years awaiting a decision on it's fate. There is no space for it at the new house, it wouldn't fit in the cellar and my workshop won't have space for it (and if I wanted a lathe, I'd buy something a bit bigger I think) so it needs to go to a good home!
We don't want anything for it, but a donation to a dog rescue charity will suffice Please let me know if you can use this, the casting is stamped RandA, and the belts need replacing, but the Motor did work when tried a few years ago. Needs to be gone by the middle of Jan 2014.
This lathe is located in Bristol btw.

Lovely, shame you can't keep it in the family. Go careful with those Tea chests in the photos as you can end with all sorts of injuries moving them from splinters to concussion!

As much as id like to keep it, if i needed one it would likely need to be much chunkier! and its not been used for 30-odd years! it is in good condition though.

I had a dig around in the boxes under the lathe today, and there's a set of gears, and some tool bits as well that will go with it.
Westfield-Builder hasn't gotten back to me about collection yet, so anyone else fancy it? Jiffers I think you're not far off...
