Watched this the other day & I love how they get things done with basic tools:

The other ones I enjoyed was the gearbox changing ones. Under 10 minutes or something crazy

They do have several guys working on it which actually have a clue what they're doing!

Yeah the stands seem pretty standard for rally use. I like the air operated trolley jack some of them use also

I'd have drilled a hole in the boot lid and bolted it down, that tension strap was a bodge

Many years ago my friend Martin had an Austin A30. It gained an 848 OHV A series to replace the 803 SV. Then a 1098 and finally a 1275 out of a Spridget.

Along the way we accumulated just about every diff ever made. We would fit a low ratio diff for term time use around town. A high ratio diff for 'high speed' cruising for the long trip home. Whatever other ratio seemed appropriate for whatever other mischief we were getting up to that weekend.

We got it down to a fine art and could swap out diffs in the hall car park in under 30 minutes. The longest part of the entire exercise was jacking it up on a little screw bottle jack, chocking it up on blocks of wood, removing wheels and putting it back on its feet again.

It helped massively that he was left handed and small and I am right handed and tall and we assigned tasks accordingly.

Engine swaps were a whole morning job - though that included a 'service' and 'tune up'.

BFHs were not involved.

Note the water container bottom right, when they came into service the turbo was glowing so they poured water on it to try and cool it enough to work on it.
